Day 1:

Africa’s Safari Capital

After arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be transferred to Ololo Lodge, a great place to start your long-awaited adventure in “the safari capital of Africa”. The charming ranch-style luxury safari lodge is conveniently situated on the edge of Nairobi National Park, just 45 minutes’ drive from both Jomo Kenyatta International and Wilson Airports, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Nairobi, a humming metropolis, is the only city in the world to have a national park within its borders. During your stay, you will explore Nairobi National Park’s rich wildlife while enjoying the comforts of luxury, and stunning views of the city skyline. If you’d love to wander in the bustling city, our expert team will give recommendations for restaurants, bars and local attractions based on your personal preferences.

Days 2-5:

Scenic Safaris in Amboseli

You’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport for a light aircraft flight to the Kimana Airfield, tucked away in the Kimana Sanctuary, a private concession in the wildlife corridor between the Amboseli National Park and the Chyulu Hills. It is a community-owned conservancy that belongs to local Maasai families.

You’ll stay in Angama Amboseli, an intimate contemporary and luxe camp set in the heart of the 5,700-acre Kimana Sanctuary. Arriving at the lodge feels like stepping into a postcard. You can keep an eye out for Super Tusker elephants moving through forests of fever trees and across the plains, backdropped by the magnificent mist-shrouded Mount Kilimanjaro, confirming that this is truly a land of giants.

Enjoy scintillating slow-paced morning and evening game drives led by expert guides as you follow and study wildlife and fascinating ecosystems. You can also get involved in wildlife conservation and protection efforts with Big Life Foundation.

Days 5-8:

Experience the Iconic Masai Mara

Masai Mara is the heartbeat of Kenya safaris and one of Africa’s popular safari destinations. The reserve is home to astounding concentrations of wildlife, including wildebeest, zebras, lions and cheetahs.

From Amboseli, you’ll fly to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip in the Mara Triangle and be transferred to Wilderness Mara (formerly Little Governors’ Camp), where you’ll spend three nights enjoying spectacular game viewing and a tailored programme of activities designed to enhance your stay.

Alternatively, you could stay at Angama Mara, an ultra-exclusive luxury safari lodge perched high above the Great Rift Valley, providing sweeping panoramic views of the plains.

Enjoy a sunrise hot air balloon ride above the plains as you admire the reserve’s beauty bathed in golden light and the savannahs coming alive with waking wildlife. Sip a fresh cup of Kenyan coffee while your balloon is inflated, ready to lift off. The experience is followed by a champagne breakfast on the plains as you disembark the balloon basket.

You’ll also visit a Maasai community for an immersive cultural experience.

Days 8-11:

Three Nights in the Laikipia Plateau

Although lesser known than some of Kenya’s more prominent wildlife parks and reserves, the Laikipia Plateau is no less impressive. Situated in northern Kenya between Mount Kenya and the Great Rift Valley, this high-altitude conservation area boasts jaw dropping densities of wildlife and is one of the best places for exclusivity and off-the-beaten-track experiences.

Nestled between the Ewaso Narok River and the slopes of Mt Kenya, Suyian Lodge is a premier, ultra-luxury wilderness lodge offering intimate encounters and raw, untamed beauty in Laikipia’s Suyian Conservancy. It is the perfect place to spend three nights of intense exploration as you round off your 11 days of exclusive luxury private safari adventure. Or Segera Retreat

You’ll go on both morning and evening game drives with expert guides to spot several unique and endangered species, including black rhinos, Grevy’s zebras, reticulated giraffes and African painted dogs, as well as the Big Five. You’ll also enjoy a walking safari through the Laikipia Plateau’s varied terrain for a more intimate and immersive experience.

On the 11th day, you can enjoy one more game drive and then transfer to Wilson Airport for your departure flight.
