After arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you’ll be transferred to Ololo Lodge, a great place to start your long-awaited adventure in “the safari capital of Africa”. You’ll be transferred to Wilson Airport for a light aircraft flight to the Kimana Airfield, tucked away in the Kimana Sanctuary, a private concession in the wildlife corridor between the Amboseli National Park and the Chyulu Hills. It is a community-owned conservancy that belongs to local Maasai families.

You’ll stay in Angama Amboseli, an intimate contemporary and luxe camp set in the heart of the 5,700-acre Kimana Sanctuary. Arriving at the lodge feels like stepping into a postcard. You can keep an eye out for Super Tusker elephants moving through forests of fever trees and across the plains, backdropped by the magnificent mist-shrouded Mount Kilimanjaro, confirming that this is truly a land of giants.

From Amboseli, you’ll fly to Kichwa Tembo Airstrip in the Mara Triangle and be transferred to Wilderness Mara (formerly Little Governors’ Camp), where you’ll spend three nights enjoying spectacular game viewing and a tailored programme of activities designed to enhance your stay.
