Day 1:

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After an early breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel, brief you about the safari and start the long but scenic drive to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park.

Enjoy the scenic views of the countryside as you pass through small farms and trading centres. After arriving, hike to the top of the falls or take a short game drive as you continue to your lodge.

Fort Murchison, a mid-range accommodation sits just outside the northern park boundaries. Spend the night here with a cool drink while enjoying stunning views of the Nile River. The evening comes with all the noise of an African night.

Day 2:

Game drives and boat cruise

After a sumptuous early breakfast, embark on an exciting boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the waterfalls. Enjoy breathtaking views of the powerful waterfall that passes through a narrow gorge about 8 metres wide, plunging 45 metres over the remnant rift valley wall.

The result is the thunderous roar as water gushes down below. You will see a variety of aquatic animals such as hippos and Nile crocodiles, as well as numerous bird species including kingfisher, shoebill stork, and pelicans.

You will catch a glimpse of the elusive shoebill and pelican when exploring the vast papyrus wetlands close to the Nile delta. Later, enjoy a relaxed afternoon, sipping a cool drink while watching the Nile flow by on her long journey to the Mediterranean Sea.

Day 3:

Back to Entebbe

Wake up to a sumptuous breakfast and embark on your last game drive to crown your 3-day safari in Murchison Falls National Park. After, return to the lodge to pack up and check out. You will pass via Masindi for lunch and proceed to Kampala or Entebbe where you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport.
